Procedures/steps, duration, and fee for document legalization / certification / authentication / at the Embassy of Algeria in Jakarta for study, employment/work, marital, and other purposes



A. Procedures/Steps


  1. Document to be legalized/certified/authenticated shall be first translated into French language by a certified sworn translator
  2. The translation result shall be then legalized at Indonesia’s Ministry of Law and Human Rights and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As for school/university certificate/diploma, its copy must be first legalized/authenticated by its issuer school/university
  3. The original document or the authenticated copy (for school/university certificate/diploma) and its translation result that have been legalized by Indonesia’s Ministry of Law and Human Rights and Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall be then legalized at the Embassy of Algeria in Jakarta

B. Duration/Length of Time


  1. Translation = 3 working days
  2. Legalization at Indonesia’s Ministry of Law and Human Rights and Ministry of Foreign Affairs = 3 working days
  3. Legalization at Saudi Arabia Embassy = 7 working days

C. Fee/Cost


  1. Translation from Indonesian into French = IDR 300,000/translation page
  2. Legalization at Indonesia’s Ministry of Law and Human Rights and Ministry of Foreign Affairs = IDR 350,000/document
  3. Legalization at Saudi Arabia Embassy = IDR 450.000/document
